LisaGermano.net is an independent archival site dedicated to the work of Lisa Germano—singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and one of the most consistently underappreciated artists of the past three decades.
Born in Mishawaka, Indiana, Germano spent years as a touring and session violinist—most prominently with John Mellencamp—before launching a solo career in 1991 that would produce multiple albums of singular, deeply personal music. Her 4AD years in the mid-1990s yielded her most celebrated work: Geek the Girl, Excerpts From a Love Circus, and Slide remain landmarks of the era, praised by critics and championed by fellow artists from David Bowie to Peter Gabriel to Neil Finn.
This site aims to serve as a comprehensive resource for her discography, press archive, and career history—for longtime fans and for anyone encountering her music for the first time.
