As one of the standout tracks on Lisa Germano’s Slide, “Way Below the Radio” was also selected as the album’s only single, released in 1998.
Like many of Germano’s singles, Way Below the Radio was released only as a promotional single, so a wider, commercial release was never made. It is one of Lisa’s rarest singles.

Packaging & Design
Released in a standard jewel case, Way Below the Radio received a full design treatment, including a cover, back cover, and a fully-designed disc, which is atypical to most promotional singles. The images pulled here are photographs taken by Matthew Welch, who also photographed the images used for Slide.
The back cover features a quote from The New Yorker.
