After the release of Slide, Lisa Germano was ultimately dropped from 4AD and many thought it could signal the end of her recording career—including herself. While Lullaby for Liquid Pig would eventually get released in the spring of 2003, Lisa offered fans a treat by making two compilations available for purchase directly through her official website.
For just $13 per CD, fans could express interest through her PO box and receive a personalized gift in return in the form of these compilations.
Rare, Unusual or Just Bad Songs is a treasure trove of rarities that is a must-have for Lisa Germano fans.

Packaging & Design
Lisa presumably designed the cover and handled each request. The front and back cover feature her handwriting. The disc face is a standard TDK CD-R, but with a personalized thank you message from Lisa.
