Germano’s singles and EPs are not afterthoughts to the albums—they’re often essential companions to them. The Inconsiderate Bitch EP introduced her 4AD era with remixed versions of Happiness tracks reworked by Ivo Watts-Russell and John Fryer; Small Heads collected rarities and B-sides from the Excerpts From a Love Circus sessions; I Love a Snot bundled live recordings alongside album cuts. Taken together, these releases fill in the margins of the studio records and document how her music shifted between formats and contexts.
